Some areas of traffic congestion could add a couple of minutes onto the trip to work and school this morning.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are scattered throughout Interstate 476.
Route 315 is reporting minor congestion near Fox Hill Road, while Route 115 is reporting minor congestion near East Mountain Boulevard.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Minor traffic congestion is reported on the South Cross Valley Expressway in both lanes throughout the roadway.
Downtown, areas of heavy traffic congestion are reported at various intersections on select roadways. Affected areas include:
•Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards
• East Market Street
• North / South River streets
• South Main Street
In Kingston, areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
