Sunny skies are expected to stick around the Wyoming Valley, but the chance for rain will move in during the latter part of the week.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 65 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fog reported in most areas.

Areas of fog are possible before 10 a.m. — otherwise, sunny skies are expected today. The high will be near 88. Mostly clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 67.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 89. Clear skies will carry over into Wednesday night, with a low around 67.

Mostly sunny skies will stick around on Thursday, but there will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. The high will be near 88.

Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Thursday night, with a low around 66.
