KINGSTON — Kingston will hold a community-wide “petroleum drop-off” to enable residents to drop off old tires and certain fluids for disposal.

The drop-off will be held from Monday, Sept. 14 to Friday, Sept. 18, at the Department of Public Works Municipal Warehouse, located at 455 Church Street. The drop-off will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Proof of Kingston residency will be required.

Items that will be accepted include:

• Tires

• Motor oil

• Gasoline

• Diesel fuel

• Fuel oil

• Antifreeze

• Cooking oil

All liquids must be labeled and in air-tight containers. Paint cans will not be accepted.
