KINGSTON — Three teenagers have been implicated in connection with vandalism and thefts at the Kingston Pool in July, police said.

Kingston police had reached out to the public via media outlets and social media requesting information related to criminal mischief and the theft of items at the pool on July 25.

Thanks to anonymous tips and cooperation with people that may have been involved in this incident, the juvenile were petitioned to Luzerne County Juvenile Court for their roles in the incidents, Kingston police announced on Monday.

All three juveniles were petitioned to juvenile court on criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and institutional vandalism, police said.

The pool at Hamilton and Lathrop streets is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and is scheduled for an upgrade of approximately $1 million.
