The ride into work and school could involve dealing with some areas of traffic congestion.
Scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Route 315 is free of congestion, but heavy traffic is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Minor traffic congestion is reported throughout the southbound lane of the South Cross Valley Expressway.
Several streets in the downtown area area reporting areas of minor and heavy congestion. Affected streets include:
• Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards
• North / South Main streets
• North / South River streets
• Academy Street
• Hazle Street
In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
