Wilkes-Barre man suspected of intoxication and driving with a suspended license refused Breathalyzer

WILKES-BARRE — City police allege 33-year-old Keith Jacobs of High St. was operating a motorcycle in violation of the vehicle code on Tuesday, Sept. 8, around 1:57 a.m. in the area of Mayock St. and showed signs of intoxication upon being stopped.

According to the department’s Facebook page, Jacobs was found to be driving with a suspended license and admitted to having consumed alcohol on the evening in question.

Police reported that Jacobs refused a breath test for blood alcohol level, after being detained and taken to the police station. Jacobs was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, and PENNDOT was notified of his refusal.
