WILKES-BARRE — City police reported that 47-year-old James David Jackson, of Sweet Valley, and 27-year-old Ralph Green, of Wilkes-Barre, were taken into custody on Public Square after displaying signs of public drunkenness.

Jackson and Green were allegedly a danger to themselves and an annoyance to members of the public around 1:28 p.m. on Tuesday. The two were held until sober and charges were filed, police said.
