WILKES-BARRE — Police said Michelle Green, 35, of Haldeman Street, was arrested on driving under the influence charges after she ran a red light at Hazle Street and Wilkes-Barre Boulevard late Wednesday night.

An officer stopped Green at 11:52 p.m. and noticed she showed signs of intoxication, police said. She was given a portable breath test that showed she was in excess of the limit for a positive result for intoxication, police said. A records’ check indicated she had a suspended license, police said. She was arrested and taken to police headquarters where a legal breath test was given, showing the same results. She was booked and released into the custody of a sober adult, police said.
