Local residents can look forward to seasonal temperatures in the Wyoming Valley for the remainder of the week.

The National Weather Service reported that it was 60 degrees at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport at 6 a.m.

Decreasing cloudiness and a high of a high of 70 degrees can be expected for today, with tonight’s low dipping to 47 degrees.

Thursday will bring sunny skies with an expected high of 66 degrees before dropping to a low of 53 degrees overnight.

Friday is predicted to bring scattered showers with a high of 68 degrees and a low of 47 degrees.
