HANOVER TWP. — At Wednesday’s meeting, the Hanover Area School Board voted to hire Thomas Gilroy as head girls basketball coach for the 2015-2016 school year at a stipend of $5,135.
The board also made the following appointments:
• Nicholas Dawson, co-weightlifting coach, $2,259.
• Emily Zagami, assistant varsity girls volleyball coach, $1,530.
• Robert Brenner II, assistant varsity girls volleyball coach, unpaid.
• Joseph Malocheski, band sound technician, $2,360
In other business, the board appointed Shelby Madden, Alyssa Piccoletti and Samantha Williams to the 2015-2016 substitute list.
The board also appointed Leo Domanski as a cleaner at Memorial Elementary at a rate of $7.25 per hour with no benefits and accepted the resignation of Beth Koneski, school library assistant, effective Sept. 11, 2015.
The board’s next work session will be held at 7 p.m. on Nov. 2 and the regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 5.
