WILKES-BARRE — A 28-year-old female was arrested early Saturday morning for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

According to police:

Police were called to Gates Street at 2:15 a.m., where they found Nicole Gensel of Main Street, Plymouth, yelling and attempting to start a fight. Officers repeatedly asked her to stop her actions. Gensel resisted arrest when officers attempted to place her into custody.

She was processed at the police station and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility to be arraigned on the charges.
