Sunny skies will stay in the Wyoming Valley as the week progresses, along with slightly warmer temperatures.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 33 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies starting the day.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 40. Partly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 30.

Partly sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 45. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Wednesday night, with a slight chance showers possible. The low will be around 41.

Thursday will bring partly sunny skies, with a high near 52. Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Thursday night, with a low around 41.
