No rain is in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley for the remainder of the week.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 32 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies kicking off the day.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, with a high near 47. Those cloudy skies will carry over into tonight, along with a 30 percent chance of showers between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 40 degrees.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 52. Thursday night will also bring mostly cloudy skies, with a low around 42.

Partly sunny skies will return to wrap up the week on Friday, with a high near 54. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low around 43.
