For the end of the holiday weekend, traffic won’t be an excuse to keep friends and family at the house longer.

With the exceptions of the toll booths and the on and off-ramps, the main thoroughfares in Wyoming Valley — Interstates 80, 81 and 476 — look to be free-flowing and clear of traffic.

Heavy congestion is being reported on Wyoming Avenue between Kingston and Forty Fort, as well as on Market Street between Second and Third Avenue and at the intersection of Keystone Avenue and Highway 315, Pittston.

Travelers can expect some spots of light traffic on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard.
