SCRANTON — Police are investigating a robbery at NBT Bank on Thursday.

Police said a man wearing a mask over his face entered the bank at 117 Meadow Ave. at about 940 a.m. and demanded money. He fled in a small, silver-colored two-door coupe.

Police say the suspect might have robbed other banks in the area, noting that the thief wore what appears to be the same baseball cap in other robberies.

NBT Bancorp, the parent company of NBT Bank, is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for original information leading to the apprehension, arrest and conviction of any individual or individuals responsible for committing this robbery.

To provide information, call 607-226-0509. All information will be kept confidential, according to a news release from NBT.
