TUNKHANNOCK — State police at Tunkhannock are looking for the person(s) who broke into a house and stole several items, including three guns.

According to police, the break-in occurred sometime between Jan. 28 and Feb. 1 at the home of Ronald Vermeulen, 73, at a residence on Gen Hope Road in North Branch Township.

Police said someone entered the home and took a 1187 semi-automatic 12-gauge Winchester shotgun, a Remington 760 Gamemaster 30/06 rifle with score, a Savage 222/20 gauge over-under rifle and a Stihl chainsaw.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact Pennsylvania State Police Tunkhannock at 570-836-2141.
