KINGSTON TWP. — Township police are investigating the disappearance of a man that reportedly suffers from mental illness and was recently released from a mental health facility.

Police say that Larry George Wesley, 36, was reported missing by his father on Wednesday. Wesley was last seen at his parents’ residence in Shavertown at approximately 8 p.m. on Jan. 31. He left the residence in a 1997 Toyota Avalon that had a “Sunoco” sticker on the rear bumper.

Police said that while Wesley was recently released from a mental health facility, it was not known if he is in possession of his prescribed medication.

Wesley is described as a white man, but the police report did not give any other details on his appearance.
