HANOVER TWP. — Police arrested Eric Czock, 32 of Lee Park Avenue, early Wednesday evening on criminal contempt after violating a Protection From Abuse order.

Czock was taken into custody at his residence without incident, police said, and he was later arraigned on the violation by District Judge James Dixon and remanded to Luzerne County Correctional Facility on $25,000 straight cash bail.

A hearing has been set at the Luzerne County Courthouse for Feb. 18 2016 at 9 a.m.

According to the police report, the charge was filed after Czock’s girlfriend, Tara Augustaitus, related he violated the court order on several incidents occurring over the last four days, which included threats and physical abuse.
