Scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted in the Wyoming Valley through the Memorial Day weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 59 degrees as of 5:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, along with isolated showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. The high will be near 85.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into tonight, along with isolated showers and thunderstorms before 3 a.m. The low will be around 65.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Friday, along with scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the high will be near 85.

Partly cloudy skies are expected for Friday night, as well as scattered showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 67.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, and scattered showers will be possible after 2 p.m. The high will be near 86.

Partly cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, but so will the chance for showers and thunderstorms. The low will be around 66.

Partly sunny skies are predicted for Sunday, along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The high will be near 85. Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Sunday night, along with a chance of showers. The low will be around 63.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected on Memorial Day, but there will also be a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The high will be near 78.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Monday night, along with a chance of showers. The low will be around 62.
