PLYMOUTH — A report of gunshots being fired in the borough led to two people being arrested and police recovering suspected heroin, a gun and a large amount of money Tuesday night, according to court documents.

Britny Lynn Suda faces charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, endangering the welfare of a child and numerous controlled substance violations. James McRee-Snow faces several charges of conspiracy involving drugs.

According to a police report:

At about 10:30 p.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Willow Street for the report of shots fired. Two males were reported to have been seen running from the area. Police said they obtained information that one of the suspects was believed to be the boyfriend of a female living on Vine Street.

Larksville, Plymouth and Edwardsville officers went to the residence and spoke to the Suda.

Suda, 24, told the officer that no one else was at the residence, but officers observed a male matching the description of one of the suspects standing in the hallway. The male was detained and identified as McRee-Snow, 20.

The police, while clearing the residence, discovered several packets of suspected heroin.

A 4-year-old child was also at the residence.

Suda acknowledged the presence of heroin inside the residence and signed a consent-to-search form.

Police said they recovered a revolver from the residence that had been reported stolen in 2012 and a large amount of cash.

Bail was set at $75,000 for McRee-Snow and $50,000 for Suda. Neither could post bail, and both are being held at the Luzerne County Correction Facility.
