WILKES-BARRE – An Edwardsville woman is facing charges after allegedly being found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said officers went to Academy Street at approximately 11:19 p.m. Thursday for a report of a fight. When officers arrived, they allegedly discovered several empty wax paper baggies and syringes used to ingest heroin.

Police said Melissa Lamarr, 29, was placed under arrest for possession of the drug paraphernalia.
