Commuters could encounter some areas of traffic congestion on the ride into work this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476, but isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Routes 315 and 115.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. The South Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Kidder, Mundy and Spring streets.

Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on several streets in the area. Affected streets include:

• Wilkes-Barre/South Wilkes-Barre boulevards

• North / South Main streets

• Public Square

• North / South Washington streets

• North / South Pennsylvania avenues

• North / South Franklin streets

• North / South River streets

In Kingston, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
