The morning commute for Wyoming Valley residents is smooth going Tuesday morning.

Interstates 80 and 81 show free-flowing traffic. Spots of heavy traffic are reported on Interstate 476 in the Pittston area.

Moderate congestion is showing in spots around Wilkes-Barre, especially on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and North Main Street.

The on-off ramps on state Route 309 are causing some headaches for residents with stop and go traffic but for the most part, it’s an easy go for the morning rush.

Light traffic is also being reported on Stairville Road in Rice Township, near the Rice Elementary School.

Stretches of heavy congestion is reported on Wyoming Avenue between Bedford and Sullivan Streets.

State Route 11 into Plymouth is also reporting light traffic near the Plymouth Post Office.
