FORTY FORT — Wyoming Valley West School District tax bills will be sent July 29.
The following dates will be effective with that issue date: end of rebate will be Sept. 26; end of face will be Nov. 25; and end of penaly collections will be Dec. 31.
The installment dates are Aug. 31, Oct. 17 and Nov. 25. The penalty applies after that until Dec. 31.
Anyone not receiving a bill by Aug. 10 should contact Forty Fort Tax Collector Ronald Jeffery at 570-287-6337.
The office will be open for collection 2 to 4:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 1. Special hours will be announced as needed.
A reminder notice for county and municipal taxes if unpaid as of July 1 has been mailed.
If a receipt is necessary when making a mail payment, taxpayers should include all parts of the bill along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope. No receipts will be mailed if all parts and an envelope are not included.
Postmarks will be accepted for each of the end dates.
Payments may also be made at the lockbox at the borough building during business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
