HANOVER TWP. — An apartment in the 200 block of Lee Park Avenue was shut down Saturday after police said they discovered what they believed to be methamphetamine and the chemicals to manufacture it inside the apartment while serving a search warrant.

According to a police report:

Township police contacted the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Narcotics, and the Pennsylvania State Police meth lab team after discovering the chemicals.

The meth lab team arrived at the location and seized the material. Felony manufacturing charges may be filed.

The apartment was condemned by the Hanover Township Code Office.

Assisting in the investigation was the Kingston Narcotics Unit and Patrol Division.
