WILKES-BARRE — A Wilkes-Barre man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught burglarizing a residence.

Police responded to a residence on East Jackson Street at 11:51 p.m. Sunday for a report of a burglary in progress. A K-9 unit was deployed, and officers allege Jeremy Roper, 46, was found inside the residence.

Roper was arrested without incident, and he is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief.
