A Plains Township man, who police say robbed a seventh-grader at knifepoint, was arraigned on multiple charges Tuesday.

Terence Bradley, age unknown, faces charges of robbery, robbery by force and terroristic threats.

According to Wilkes-Barre police:

The victim, a student at Solomon-Plains Memorial Elementary School, was walking home alone on Oct. 11 at about 2:15 p.m. when he was approached by Bradley near Miner Congressional Church on Abbot Street. Bradley had a four- to five-inch knife and pointed it at the victim, who had an iPhone in plain sight.

“Give me that phone, or I am going to kill you,” Bradley told the victim, who then handed over the phone.

Bradley then handed it back to the victim, and instructed him to unlock it. When the victim did, Bradley took the phone and fled.

The victim was able to provide a general description of the suspect and what he was wearing.

Police went to the Alternative Learning Center, where Bradley is a student, on Oct. 12 and observed a video confirming what Bradley was wearing at the time of the incident.

The victim subsequently recognized Bradley near the Alternative Learning Center. He and his father followed him to the entrance of his residence on Maffett Street.

On Dec. 1, the victim went to police headquarters and identified Bradley from his Facebook page.

Police said the page indicated that Bradley, with screen name of “nine trey gangster,” seemed to be involved in gang activity.

Bradley is being held at the Luzerne County Correctional facility in lieu of $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.
