Temperatures are expected to drop back into the 30s this weekend, and the Wyoming Valley could also see a little snow.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 38 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 36. Clouds will increased tonight, and the low will be around 20.

Saturday will bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a 40 percent chance of snow after noon. Less than half an inch of snow accumulation is expected, and the high will be near 30.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, along with a chance of snow before 9 p.m. and flurries into the overnight hours. Less than half an inch of snow accumulation is expected, and the low will be around 24.

Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 34. Clear skies will follow into Sunday night, with a low around 21.
