BEAR CREEK TWP. — Township Board of Supervisors are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle alleged to be involved in illegal dumping behind the Bear Creek Township Municipal Building on the morning of January 15.

According to Jim Smith, a member of the Board of Supervisors, identifying information was gleaned from the trash left behind and in investigation is underway by law enforcement.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or knows anything about the illegal dumping is asked to contact the Bear Creek Township Municipal Office at 570-822-2260 or the Pennsylvania State Police at 570-697-2000.
