Warmer temperatures, cloudy skies, and rain showers are all in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley this weekend.

The region could also see significant amounts of precipitation into early next week.

According to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the national weather service, a large coastal system is expected to impact the area Monday and into Tuesday. That system could result in significant precipitation in the form of rain and snow impacting the region, but there is still uncertainty in the forecast.

No watches or warnings have been issued for Luzerne County.
