WILKES-BARRE — Police allege a man struck and kicked a pregnant woman, and then threatened to stab her during an altercation.

Regenald Rogers, 25, of Wilkes-Barre, faces charges of terroristic threats and harassment stemming from the incident.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Hickory Street at 9:12 p.m. Sunday. Police said the victim, a pregnant woman, reported that she had an argument with Rogers. During the argument, Rogers allegedly struck and kicked her, and then allegedly threatened to stab her in the stomach.

Rogers was arrested, processed, and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for arraignment.

Court documents indicate Rogers was arraigned Monday by Magisterial District Judge James Tupper, and is next scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rick Cronauer at 10 a.m. on Jan. 31.

Rogers is jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
