WYOMING — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects who allegedly passed counterfeit money at a local pet store.
According to police, two females and a male have used counterfeit $100 bills to purchase and/or return items since Feb. 3 at PetValu in the Midway Shopping Center.
On Feb. 3, a black female, about 5 foot 5 inches tall, 175 pounds, purchased $15.89 of merchandise with a $100 bill and received $84.11 in change.
On Feb. 6, a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, purchased $22.24 in merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill and received $77.76 in charge.
A white female, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 pounds, entered the store and returned the items from both transactions on Feb. 18.
