WILKES-BARRE — Police are searching for a juvenile male reported missing by his stepmother Monday.

The woman reported that her stepson Roderick C. Jenkins, 14, left their residence at 7 a.m. Monday and boarded a school bus to go to the Alternative Learning Center in Plains.

The woman reported at 8:56 p.m. Monday that Jenkins had not yet returned home.

Jenkins was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark jeans. He was last seen in the area of Meyers High School.

A photo of Jenkins was not provided by police.

Anyone with information on Jenkins’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department at 570-208-4200.
