HAZLETON — City police are searching for a man that they say was involved in an altercation that left another with a severe cut on his neck.
Police Chief Jerry Speziale said police are looking for Christopher Alejandro Dejesus, of Broad Street, Hazleton, and Dexter Court, Woodhaven, N.Y.
According to a police report:
Police on patrol were flagged down by security officers at Prestigio Bar on Sunday, who reported a male with a laceration to his neck.
Francisco Perez, 30, was found bleeding from a large laceration to the left side of his neck. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton and then transported via air to a local trauma center for his injuries.
Dejesus was identified though video surveillance and witnesses. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Anyone with information on the location of Dejesus is asked to call 911.
