Luzerne County Transportation Authority will receive one of the 29 compressed natural gas fueling stations.
Governor Tom Wolf announced Thursday the $84.5 million statewide project, which will supply gas to more than 1,6000 natural gas buses throughout the commonwealth as part of a public private partnership.
County of Lackawanna Transportation System will also receive a station.
Construction of the stations will begin in 2018 and is expected to be completed by 2021. The COLTS station includes public fueling.
