Today will be partly sunny before rain showers return overnight and continue into Monday evening in the Wyoming Valley.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 57 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair conditions were reported.

Today’s forecast calls for partly sunny conditions, with a high near 68. East wind 5 to 13 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Tonight, showers are expected, mainly after 1 a.m. Low around 55. South wind 6 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

On Monday, showers, mainly before 5 p.m. High near 69. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

On Monday night, there is a chance of showers, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 72.

Tuesday night calls for a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
