NANTICOKE — A Plymouth man was arrested Wednesday for having oral sex with a 10-year-old, police say.

Timothy Michael Mayewski, 42, of Vine Street, is charged with multiple felonies.

According to a criminal complaint:

A Larksville couple told police one of their female children told them she was sexually assaulted at a home in Plymouth.

During an interview with Plymouth police and the Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center, the child said “Tim” would rub his “ding dong” on her. The alleged incidents took place from July through December 2016.

The victim also told police “Tim” had pulled her pants down and touched her. On another occasion, Mayewski inserted his hand under her clothing to rub her.

Mayewski was contacted by police Wednesday and asked to come to the Plymouth Borough station. After being read his Miranda rights, Mayewski admitted to police what the victim said was true.

He is charged with two counts of indecent assault on a child less than 13, and one count each of aggravated assault, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children, all felonies.

After a preliminary hearing in front of District Judge Donald Whittaker, Mayewski is lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $250,000 straight cash bail. He has a preliminary hearing 1 p.m. June 17 in front of Whittaker.
