WEST PITTSTON — Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at the Dunkin Donuts that occurred on Wednesday.

Police said that at approximately 5:24 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the restaurant on Wyoming Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect was armed with a knife, and managed to get away with approximately $700 in cash, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white man that is between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and had his face partially covered.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot towards Second Street.
