WILKES-BARRE — Before the Powerball jackpot rolled to $510 million for this Saturday’s drawing, a winning Powerball ticket worth $150,000 for Wednesday’s drawing was sold in Luzerne County.

The ticket correctly matched four of the five white balls drawn — 09-15-43-60-64 — and the red Powerball 04, to win $150,000. It was sold with the $1 Power Play option, which boosted the prize to $150,000 instead of $50,000 because the multiplier drawn was three.

The retailer, Sajan Convenience, 220 E. Eighth St., Wyoming, earns a $500 selling bonus.

Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Prizes must be claimed and winning tickets validated before winners can be identified.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $510 million, or $324.2 million cash, for Saturday’s drawing. It is the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot on record. The current jackpot run started June 14.
