Jack Casper rolled a 300-289-267, good for an 856 series, last week in the Pittston Township VFW Bowling League to lead the Yankees to a 4-point win.

The Yankees improved to 7-1 on the season.

Jody Maranca bowled a high of 205 and a 550 series to help the Yankees, as well.

Tony Grieco of the Terminators had a high game of 231 and a 633 series, while Rich Russian went for a 202-580.

For the Nittany’s, Walter Moore finished with a 738 series - 213-247-278. Jack Walter’s high game was a 224.

Jim Chimento led the Bus Boys with a 191-565. Tom Judge of the Steelers rolled a 200-550, while Sam DePrimo had a 210-536.

The Red Skins got a high night from Joe Spiccioli with a 190-522.
