Holy Rosary Varsity Cheerleaders, Duryea, took home first place honors for the second consecutive year.


The girls participated in a Scranton Diocesan Cheerleading Competition hosted by Our Lady of Peace, Scranton on Feb. 23. There the team earned first place honors in the Cheer Competition and also captured first place in the Dance Routine Competition. The girls also competed on March 2 at All Saints Academy, Scranton, where they placed third in the overall cheer competition.


Holy Rosary School is proud of the team’s accomplishments as they exhibited hard work, school pride and excellence throughout the season.
