Dyller claims first half Bocce title

O’Connor Plumbing defeated Ashley Machine 2-1 to maintain the lead of the Emanon Golf League. Ted Matthews’ 2-under par 32 and Jerry Gavin’s 37 led the winners while Len Coleman had 1-under 33 for Ashley’s.

Red Mill moved into a tie for second with a 2.5-.5 victory over Cookies Travelers. Mike Lazevinick’s 2-under 32 and John Zelonis’ 36 led the Mill. Bob Crofton Jr. had 35 and was low for Cookies.

Falls Bridge Deli stayed in a tie for second with a 2-1 win over Selenski Insurance. Tony Zielen (38) and Mac Eyet (39) led the Deli. Jim Breck’s even par 34 was low for Selenskis.

Powers defeated Bryan Contracting 2-1 with Metro Kruika (38) and Frank Licata (41) leading Powers. Tom Bryan Jr. (38) was low for Bryans.

Dyller claims

The first half of play ended this week with in the Yatesville Bocce League with the Dyller Law Firm finishing first with a comfortable lead.

Dyller’s is led by Ralph Campanella, Gene Cardoni, Baryy Dyller and Joe Zambetti Jr. By finishing first, the lawyers are given a bye to the first half finals when the playoffs begin. The team placing second will play the seventh place team, third place will play the team coming in sixth and the fourth place team plays the fifth.
