It is with great pleasure that I announce my support for Democrat Bob McDonald for 120th District state representative as his election committee chairman. Mr. McDonald is running to unseat the Republican incumbent, Aaron Kaufer.
I’m proud to serve in this role for Mr. McDonald because he strongly supports affordable health care, labor unions, women’s rights and opportunities, LGBT equality, prison reform, the legalization of medical marijuana, modernizing the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, maintaining state pensions while making the plan financially stable, improving the state infrastructure while creating family-sustaining jobs, fairly eliminating property taxes and increasing taxes for the natural gas industry. These issues are important to me and many in the 120th District.
If elected, Mr. McDonald will provide the 120th District with a strong and progressive voice in Harrisburg. He is a hardworking, dedicated and thoughtful leader for this community who will work positively with Gov. Tom Wolf on the state budget to eliminate debt while providing our schools with essential funding so Pennsylvania’s children can learn, grow and thrive.
