State liquor store relocates

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has relocated one of its Wine and
Spirits Shoppes in Wyoming.
The store, at 1152 Wyoming Ave., has moved about 100 yards down Wyoming
Avenue to the Midway Shopping Center. It opened Wednesday as a self-service
outlet.

The store features a selection of 1,520 wine and spirit items, a
refrigeration unit, and a wine well for customers who wish to purchase chilled
products. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 9
p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

The store’s general manager is Louis Volpetti, who has been with the Liquor
Control Board since 1970.
