Joseph Chernyl

Joseph Chernyl of Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday at homeBorn in
Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Dominic and Anna Fedorczak Chernyl.
He lived in the area for most of his life and attended Wilkes-Barre
schools.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Hart Restaurant.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Tronvich.
Surviving are brothers, Edward, Wilkes-Barre; Theodore, Luzerne; sisters,
Anna Wanat, Wilkes-Barre; Elizabeth Kostrab, Reading.
Private funeral services will be from the Bednarski Funeral Home, 27 Park
Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
There will be no calling hours.
