MISS NADINE MARIE ANN KATYL, 53, of North Wilkes-Barre, formerly of Dallas, passed into Eternal Life unexpectedly Wednesday August 19, 2009, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Born July 25, 1956, in Kingston, she was a daughter of Irene D. Katyl and Joseph Katyl. She is remembered by family as having a love of animals, especially cats, and she assisted with the Valley Cat Rescue. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael. Surviving are her mother, Irene D.; father Joseph; brothers Robert, David, William and Mark, all of Dallas; sister Donna Butler, of Trucksville; nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Shavertown. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations are requested to the Luzerne County SPCA, Fox Hill Road, Plains, PA 18705. www.JohnVMorrisFuneralHomes.com.
