Healthy summer smoothies

During the hot months of summer, it’s important to stay hydrated. Having a fruit smoothie is a delicious, easy way to have a drink that can also be a yummy snack. Here are two easy recipes we have tried and enjoyed.


Just put the ingredients into the blender and mix for about one minute. Have an adult help with using the blender, and of course, remember to put the lid on. Enjoy!


Recipe 1 ingredients:


3/4 cup mandarin oranges


1/2 cup of juice from mandarin oranges


1 regular- size mixed berry yogurt


2 ice cubes


Recipe 2 ingredients:


3/4 cup of fresh strawberries


3/4 cup of pineapples


1/2 cup or orange juice


1/2 container of strawberry and banana yogurt


2 ice cubes
