Nearly 120 golfers teed off at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic for the 21st Annual Jack Newman Golf Classic. Hosted by Allied Services Integrated Health System and co-presenting sponsors, Community Bank and Xpedx (now Veritiv Corp), the tournament raises funds for the benefit of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, in the name of the Jack and Joan Newman Endowment Fund.

This year, the Jack and Joan Newman Endowment Fund reached $1 million, enabling Allied Services to invest in a permanent location for its Vocational Services Division. Since 1958, the Division has been providing services to more than 500 people daily including sheltered employment, job training and job placement in the community for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities.
