Marie Lesher

Marie A. Lesher, of Tunkhannock, died Saturday at Tyler Memorial Hospital,
Tunkhannock.
Born in Larksville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Sophia
(Nemshick) Drost. She worked as a dairy farmer in Sugar Hollow. She was a
member of the Church of Nativity B.V.M., Tunkhannock; and the Dairy Herd
Improvement Association.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Francis Drost.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest W.; sister, Clara Bondurich, Kenilworth,
N.J.; Irene Corby, Middlesex, N.J.; and Josephine Morykon, Tunkhannock;
brothers, Joseph Drost, Tunkhannock; and John Drost, Mehoopany and Avon Park,
Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Sheldon-Kukuchka
Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity B.V.M., Tunkhannock. Interment
will be in Prevost Cemetery, Russell Hill, Tunkhannock.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart Association of the donor’s
choice.
