Countryside Conservancy will recognize the winners of its 2014 Stewardship Awards at a ceremony on Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m. in Evans Hall, Keystone College. This year’s ceremony will honor the Hull Family’s Spring Hills Farm and the residence of Gretchen Ludders and Bob Fleese. The event is free and coffee and desserts will be offered. All are encouraged to attend and show their support.
The Stewardship Awards were instituted 18 years ago to express the Conservancy’s appreciation for the efforts of good stewards of the environment. Countryside Conservancy protects land and water in and near the Tunkhannock Creek watershed for the public benefit now, and for the future. Updates on the Conservancy’s recent efforts, including progress on the Trolley Trail project, will also be provided at the event.
